Many thanks to my friend Pat who trusted me to embroider 13 names and dates on two christening slips made by her mother and an aunt some 30 years ago. What a pleasure it was to study the tiny stitches, and elaborate lace that was used to construct these two amazing pieces. Several names had already been added through the years, but with another birth approaching, it was time to bring both up to date! What a lucky family... the new addition should be in April in the great state of Texas. Congratulations!!
